Once a month our aquatic exercise class meets to share lunch. The male waiter is superb. He hosts 15-20 women with great efficiency, impeccable attentive service with calmness and grace. Loads of fun!
Thank you fellow yelpers!! I would have never thought to stop here if not for you. DELICIOUS!! I had the Kung Pao Chicken today. So good. I also had the shrimp egg rolls. Best I've ever had. I knew this meal was going to be good when I tasted the egg flour soup and loved it. It doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is nice My server was very kind and very good at what he does. I will be coming back and bringing my family.

OMG! One of the best Chinese food places in town! The best hot and sour soup I've had a YEARS! Ambience is great! Little tables in the bar with old style decor. Dining room is kind of plain but don't let that fool you. The saddest thing about this restaurant is there is no delivery! Keep in mind they are closed on Tuesday's. Service are very nice and attentive! Bartenders are great. They also have video gambling machines to pass the time while you wait on you food order. But you won't need to wait long as they usually bring the soup and appetizer quickly! I've eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants in Portland and this is my favorite! Fresh, made to order food, great happy hour specials. Heaping servings- you might want to share! Love this place!!
This place is great - consistently good food and great drinks, always excellent service and reasonable prices . Grant it, I've only been in the bar area but it's got a cool vibe, bartender is always very attentive (even with a full bar area) and I like the video poker options. Little sketchy from the outside because of the homelessness chaos on Foster out front but well worth stopping in and checking out.
I'm not sure why they don't have a higher rating. We have been here a few times now & the food & service is always on point. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!

The restaurant is in a "low rent" district and looks shabby but inside it's warm, inviting and comfortable. And the food is excellent. The cooks know their sauces and keep the heat right where American diners expect it. We have tried about a third of the dishes and find no weak spots. Of particular merit are the egg rolls, both the shrimp and the vegetable. Egg rolls are a simple dish, but it takes some skill to deep fry the rolls to get the chrispy roll with the hot inside--they never fail. Well worth the $$ with portions so generous we always split an entree and add the egg rolls or a soup.
